Welcome to "Old Town Tumbleweed" at Gibson Ranch
Gibson Ranch Regional Park, Elverta, CA
Welcome to the town of Tumble Weed, where everyone is a child at heart. Located in the center of Gibson Ranch in the little town of Tumble Weed, home of the Gibson Family Theatre. Directed by the Pony Man himself, Lloyd Cooper. The Gibson Family Theater in an interactive equestrian experience involving rescue horses who have been rehabilitated and given a renewed purpose of bringing joy to all ages from five to eighty five. The Gibson Ranch Theater offers chances for local children and young adults to learn how to work and perform with horses in a theatrical setting.

Mission Statement:

To educate the public of the modern day plight of the economy and the horse today effected by the economy. To provide a safe and fun educational setting for old and young alike, to learn about how the horse had a big part in the making of the West.  

From The Pony Express to showing inner city kids where their food comes from how it’s grown, how it’s planted and how we harvest with our powerful Perchon draft horses Buck and Bart.
